Consitution

1. The name of the society is “Netball Metro Vancouver Association”.

2. The purpose of the society are:

A) To organize netball league and tournament competition for clubs and teams in Metro Vancouver.

B) To conduct recreational Netball competition according to the Official Netball rules as set out by the International Netball Federation, the British Columbia Netball Association and Netball Canada.

C) To affiliate and be members in good standing of the British Columbia Netball Association, Netball Canada and the International Netball Federation and in so doing affiliate all members teams.

D) To encourage a high standard of respect and sportsmanship and to follow BC Netballs Codes of Conduct for Athletes, Coaches, Officials and Administrators.

E) to obtain and administer the finances, personnel and equipment that may be necessary to maintain a high standard of Netball in league competition.

F) To encourage the growth of Netball as a Lifelong sport in Metro Vancouver.

G) To provide a safe and enjoyable competition environment for junior members graduating from the British Columbia Netball Association Youth Leagues and School teams.
